Yeah, We're That Family

Picture it.

New ecologically sensitive school...trying desperately to enforce good nutrition on students...concerned about the environment, reducing unnecessary packaging and being green...

New student in school...pulls up in drop off line with mom driving dad's dirty, salty Subaru, plastic buckets rolling all over the back sounding like the inside of Oscar the Grouch's trashcan...McDonald wrappers strewn across the passenger seat from yesterday's lunch...Mountain Dew can kicked by child is spewing yellowish liquid all over back mat while mom is freaking out because dad's car never, ever, ever has a single napkin in the glove box...

Montessori teacher eyeing all of this and probably thinking inside of her head...thank goodness we got THIS child.

The car behind me in drop off was a Hummer H2. That's worse, right?

*as Keith is probably going to completely protest to this portrayal of his car and lifestyle, I must add that he is normally clean, rarely eats at McDonalds unless on the road and never brings Mtn Dew into the house.
