Our Children's Future

I loved a post my friend 4 Benders posted recently. I had to share it with you - a good laugh indeed:


So I was volunteering in Jude's classroom today. My task for today was to call each child out individually into the hall and have them write their "star" words. I say the word, they write it, then they read the words back to me.

There are 20 star words (aka sight words) such as I, a, the, love, like, mom, dad, etc.

So I tell this boy to write the star word "we".

The boy: "That one is super easy." Wii. "I have that at home." Wii.

I was rolling. I let him put it down, he read to me the right one, then I explained the difference.

I showed the teacher, she was rolling too. So many kids will be spelling......... Wii went to the park today. Wii had fun. Wii love video games.
