It's Another....Girl!
We had our ultrasound today. First we were not going to find out the baby's sex. Second, we decided to find out, place it in a envelope and surprise ourselves at a nice dinner on vacation next month. And finally, ended up opening it up at lunch 25 minutes after the ultrasound ended. Yeah, we suck at waiting. But we are determined to keep her name a secret until birth...
So now we are just praying for good news from the doctors that everything looks good. And we're very excited for the prospect of a younger sister for J and L.
Although the news was not received so well by all. Upon finding out that he will be sporting another sister, J's reaction was as follows:
TWO girls???? NOOOOOOOOO!!!! I wanted a BOY!!! (insert crying and large tears)
He's still not convinced of how lucky he will be to have two sisters, but time will heal disappointments and his love of all babies will kick in.
We hope!

Congratulations!!!!!! We are so happy for you. Lina will have fun with her sister and Jackson already has experience with brothering a sister. Tell him he will be an expert with 2 sisters -just like his daddy :). We love you all. Give baby girl Hemmig a love pat from her family in Ohio.

That is exactly how we are about waiting too!!!
So exciting!!! Jackson will be a great older brother to his newest sister - though his initial reaction has me laughing. It'll be sweet for Lina to have a sister next in line as well.

YEAH! We are so happy for you all. It was good that you found out and gave J time to digest the "second sister" thing. I think Will was a bit disappointed for the first few days after Cate arrived : )

That is great new! We need another girl in the neighborhood -- Lina and Sidney would be way too popular otherwise! We have tons of baby stuff (even clothes like yellow ducky style) we are more than happy to share. - KS
