Long time...No Post
The Nana left last night - J took it pretty hard, we all did. She is a great houseguest and we enjoyed her visit very much. I'm kicking myself that I didn't take any pictures of her and the kids together. I just didn't think about it, my recent lack of sleep leaves very little room for such forward-thinking thoughts. But we had a lot of downtime while Keith was gone, which was nice. She and I played games and just took mental vacations from our everyday lives. Thanks for visiting, we love you!
On another note, I took a grubby eczema-faced L down for breakfast with a headband to pull back the wild, greasy hair (see photo above) and J looked at her and said "Aww, she looks like a princess!"
Maybe a dirty, kingdomless one. Oh, isn't love blind?
And her new activity is to pull the baby doll pack n play over her head and cry until someone take it off. Then she'll put it right back and whine and cry until released again. What's that about? J is either helping her take it off or throwing it on her, depending on his generous mood at the time.
And we had to note J's sick day last week. We made a floor bed in front of the TV where he then surrounded himself with Hotwheel cars. Now sickness = snacks, lots of Dora the Explorer, and fun toys. He's been mysteriously "sick" a lot since then.
