The Benders came in for the weekend to visit - probably on what is (in fact I know is) record breaking temperatures. Today it reached high 90s and on the lake with little wind that is pretty darn hot. Especially in a house with no AC except for two small window units. But they were good sports and never complained. I did that enough for all of us I'm sure!

As usual, a great time was had by all. We even got to enjoy the lake one day and the temperatures stayed bearable. Last night involved a babysitter and some adult time in Milwaukee at the Safe House.

Today, all children were taking turns melting down. On Jude's turn, J and Lily pulled up a chair and sought to mock him while he was in time out on the steps. And we adults were in the kitchen laughing hysterically and snapping photos of the event. You can see where J might get his sensitivity from.
