The Tale of the Sad Birthday Cake

The picture above represents the birthday cake that mom ordered from McFarlen's Bakery to celebrate Jackson's 4th birthday. When asked what she would like on it, she replied, "Maybe a jungle theme? Jungle animals?"

So this is what she received. A jungle island with a few palm trees, and no animals apparently inhabit this island. So for an extra five dollars she purchased the Madagascar characters to complete the ensemble.

Was the bakery sympathetic to our plight you ask?

No, not at all.

Did the cake look better?

Yes, it didn't look like it was modeled after the island on Lost anymore.

And it tasted fantastically.
