Angelic, isn't he?

Such a sweet picture of a young boy wearing his father's old shirt for his annual photo in the grass to show the progression of his growth. Aww, how sweet. A beautiful tradition, indeed.

Let's backtrack to how the photo session started.

He was being threatened with punishment by the mother for not cooperating.

Upon realizing how this might seem a bit extreme, considering it was only a photo session, the mother then bribed the child with extra tokens if he cooperated. This was just too much to take.

But apparently cooperating meant sitting still but not actually smiling nicely.

I would have thought him flipping us off if he was using the correct appendage.

And then he was told to not bother smiling, because frankly the mother thought him incapable of such a thing. Just look away, he was told. Think happy thoughts...if you have any at all.

Sigh....
